i have a ZJ with a 2" body lift and the benefits are nil.
with a body/spacer lift, all you are doing is placing spacers in between your springs and the body of the car, the only benefit really from these types of lifts are just the look of a higher ride and you will probably be able to fit 31-32" tires now. but you are also stretching the stock stuts/shocks out more by doing so, unless you bought aftermarket shocks made for lift kits.
you aren't going to get any ground clearance since your underbody components are still in their respective positions and if you try to go over anything higher than recommended by stock, you will damage stuff like your t-case, tranny, differentials, etc…
if you are going to be doing some serious off roading then i suggest actually getting a real lift kit.
